Mountain Biking
A Mountain Bike Ride on Trail No. 3, near lac à la Pêche
© Parks Canada / Jacques Pleau
Mountain bike enthusiasts will enjoy the 30-odd km long park circuit. The Rivière à la Pêche Campground, the Wabenaki and Andrew Lodges, and the Lac Édouard Picnic Area are all interconnected by an extensive network of trails. You will be riding on old logging roads bordering pristine lakes and across rich maple forests. Enjoy yourself, but be careful to look out for hikers!
Mountain biking is allowed on trails No. 3, 7, 8 and 9. It is also allowed on Trail No. 6 from the Lac Bouchard Picnic Area to Lac du Pimbina, and on the Vallerand Trail located in the Saint-Mathieu sector. These paths as a rule are surfaced with fine gravel. However, some sections may be covered with coarse gravel, pebbles or soft sand. Ride carefully. If service vehicles cross your path, please give them the right of way. Wearing a helmet is highly recommended.
