An Adventure for Explorers
Nothing can beat the sheer thrill of experiencing nature in a secluded spot on the shores of Wapizagonke Lake. La Clairière group campground is reserved for the use of legally constituted groups. Each group must consist of a minimum of 10 persons.
Sites, Facilities, and Services
The campground is divided into three distinct areas, each equipped with a firecircle. Firewood is available on site.
There are two kitchen shelters, each equipped with picnic tables and woodstoves. The service building houses toilets and showers. The campground has its own exclusive beach and a grassed-over play area.
A network of short hiking trails is situated nearby. Canoes are available for rental and may be transported locally.

Individuals in charge of groups must present their permit at the Saint-Mathieu Visitor Reception Centre on arrival at the park.
La Clairière group campground is open from mid-May to Thanksgiving Day, as described in the Activities and Services Calendar.
What you need to know
- Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited at all times.
- No pets are allowed.
- Only tents may be used at this campground.
- Quiet hours begin at 11:00pm.
