Friday September 30

7:30 PM - FILM : L’AMOUR AU PAYS DES ORIGNAUX
A special HD screening of Gaspé-born director Harold Arsenault’s latest film. Preceded by a local hunter’s humoristic look at the rituals surrounding moose hunting. (In French).
Meeting location : Interpretation Centre (North Area).

Saturday October 1st

8 :30 AM - EARLY BIRD HIKE ON LES CRÊTES TRAIL
Follow the guide along Les Crêtes trail between the route 132 and Le Portage (South) parking lot. Offered in collaboration with the Club de Randonnée SIA.
Meeting location: Meet at Le Portage (South) parking lot at 8:30 am for those interested in carpooling to departure point. Hike begins at 9 am where Les Crêtes trail crosses route 132.
Duration : about 4 hrs
Distance : 12,8 km
Level : Intermediate 2

10 AM - HIKE TO THE MONT SAINT-ALBAN TOWER
Guided hike for the whole family to the Mont Saint-Alban tower, accompanied by a Forillon National Park naturalist. (In French).
Meeting location: Cap-Bon-Ami parking lot.
Distance : 3,6 km
Level : Intermediate

12 TO 4 PM - GRANDE-GRAVE COMES ALIVE!
A host of activities for the whole family. Bring along your picnic.
12 pm : Fresh local produce for sale.
12 h 30 pm : Arts and crafts workshop offered in collaboration with Le Vaisseau D’Arts and trail running initiation workshop.
1 pm : Municipal elections, it’s time to vote! Dress up 1920’s style and come elect Grande-Grave’s new mayor. Historical animation, over-the-top speeches, music and laughs guaranteed.

4 PM - LE CASTOR ET SON DOMAINE
Come find out all that you’ve ever wanted to know about the beaver but were afraid to ask! Accompanied by a Forillon National Park naturalist. (In French).
Meeting location: Le Castor Parking lot
Duration : 90 minutes
