As if the scenery is not enough, the activities that make up the park's interpretation program will give you a greater understanding of the reasons why Parks Canada protects this portion of the Appalachians. Forillon is sure to charm you.

Le monde sous-marin de Grande-Grave
(Duration: 1 hour 30 min.)
Offered in French only. Grande-Grave beach, Sundays and Wednesdays at 10 a.m., from June 23 to August 18. This activity will immerse you in the teeming waters of the Gulf of St. Lawrence!

Forillon’s marine life
(Duration: 1 hour)
Bilingual presentation. Interpretation Centre, Sundays and Wednesdays at 4 p.m., from June 23 to August 18. An eye-to-eye look at the life hidden below the surface. Watch out! It’s addictive!

Wings over water
(Duration: 1 hour 30 min.)
Cap-Bon-Ami, Thursdays at 10 a.m., from June 23 to August 18. In summer, the cliffs of Forillon become seabird nurseries that you can watch from nearby!

The beaver’s turf
(Duration: 1 hour 30 min.)
Bilingual presentation on Thursdays. Le Castor parking lot, daily at dusk except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from September 2 to 22. The Canadian beaver welcomes you to its domain. How about a guided tour? Wear walking shoes or boots and bring a flashlight.

Les secrets de la roche
(Duration: 1 hour 30 min.)
Offered in French only. Interpretation Centre, Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. from June 23 to August 18 and Fridays at 1:30 p.m. from August 19 to September 1. Mountains born at the bottom of an ocean! Fossils of long-extinct animals! The rocks of Forillon have quite a tale to tell.

Mission Aquanaute (Duration: 1 hour)
Offered in French only. Grande-Grave beach, Sundays and Wednesdays at 10 a.m., from June 23 to August 18. A treasure hidden beneath the waves... follow the clues and some sea creatures will help you discover an astonishing underwater world and become an Aquanaut.

Ça grouille à Penouille !
(Duration: 1 hour 30 min.)
Offered in French only. Penouille Visitor Centre, Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. from June 23 to August 18. Both feet in the water, ten toes in the sand, discover the plants and animals that have chosen to live in this unique and fragile habitat. Wear shorts and shoes that can go in the water.

Life on the seashore (Duration: 1 hour 30 min.)
Petit-Gaspé beach parking lot, August 21 at 10 a.m. and August 28 at 2 p.m. A great opportunity to find out just what lives on the seashore! Life on the beach may just not be so easy after all... Wear appropriate shoes because the rocks are slippery.
Guided oustings
Bring along water and a snack, binoculars, sunscreen, a hat, windbreaker and a bag for your garbage; wear walking shoes or boots.

À la découverte de Cap-Gaspé (Duration : 3 hours)
Anse-aux-Amérindiens picnic area, Mondays at 1:30 p.m. from June 23 to September 1. Offered in French only Travel through time along a trail that takes you to Land’s End!

Randonnée à la tour du mont Saint-Alban (Duration : 2 hours)
Cap-Bon-Ami picnic area, Fridays at 1:30 p.m. from June 23 to August 18 and Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. from August 19 to September 1. Offered in French onlyFollow the guide to the tower. Along the way, you will learn why a park was created in this magnificent setting. Two kilometres of sustained climbing.
Curious in nature…
Park guide-interpreters are on the spot to help you make the most of Forillon’s marvels. Whether you spot them at the Curious in nature stand at Cap-Bon-Ami, the Interpretation Centre or a Naturalist on duty sign, feel free to ask them any questions you may have and they’ll be delighted to answer you.
