Sea Kayaking
The recreation centre invites you to experience a safe, unique and eco-friendly sea kayaking adventure. The guides at the recreation centre have an educational approach and sustainable observation techniques. This is a highly gratifying form of observation because it provides an opportunity to witness the natural behaviour of wildlife and thus enjoy a real-life field experience. The guides are all Level-2 and -3 certified by the Fédération québécoise du canot et du kayak and some of them have over 16 years of experience in the field. The recreation centre offers you guided tours for seal watching and for enjoying the sunset. Upon request, you can also paddle your way to magnificent Gaspé Cape. Departures are from Grande-Grave, but you must first register at the recreation centre.
This service is available from June 13 to August 28 2011.
Information and reservations: (418) 892-5056.

The sea floor around Forillon is rich in colour and is home to many varieties of marine species. This diversity never ceases to amaze divers who start off from the sites at Petit-Gaspé, Grande-Grave and Anse-Saint-Georges. At Grande-Grave, divers can use a service building equipped with changing rooms and basins to rinse their equipment. The Grande-Grave harbour is the place of departure for the snorkeling excursions. Seal observation is possible.

What a joy to walk along a pebble beach, soothed by the rhythm of waves or swell! The beaches at Cap-Bon-Ami, Petit-Gaspé, Grande-Grave and at the Des-Rosiers campground are sure to provide this satisfaction. You can also swim and wade at Penouille's splendidly beautiful sandy beach (take note that there is no lifeguard service at this beach). The beach boasts picnic areas, playgrounds, and a service building with washrooms and showers.
