We welcome you to join us at one of our two campgrounds or our group tenting campground. Stanhope and Cavendish campgrounds are within walking distance of superb beaches and provide on-site interpretive programs in July and August. Brackley Group Tenting is for organized groups only and reservations are required; please call 902-672-6350. This area features enclosed shelters, washrooms and a firepit.

Stanhope Campground

A picturesque, quiet campground close to main beaches and walking/hiking trails. Recreational equipment also available on site. Full range of sites available. Features showers, flush toilets, laundromat and kitchen shelters. Accessible sites, kitchen shelter, washroom and access to main beach. Interpretive programs provided. Campfires permitted on selected sites.

Cavendish Campground

Our largest campground, close to all amenities; featuring over 200 sites. Exceptional recreational opportunities abound, such as a supervised beach within the campground and the spectacular 8km Homestead Trail, offering 8km suitable for hiking and cycling. Recreational equipment available on site. Showers, flush toilets, laundromat and kitchen shelters. Interpretive programs provided. Campfires permitted on selected sites.

Rules & Regulations

• Check-in time is 2:00 p.m.
• Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
• Quiet hours are enforced between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
• Daily entrance fees are mandatory for all campers
• Pets must be kept on a leash at all times and cannot be left unattended. Pets are prohibited on all beaches from April 1 to October 15, annually.
• One vehicle per campsite
• An alcohol ban is strictly enforced on weekends in all campgrounds from Friday 11:00 am to Monday 11:00 am from the date of campground opening, up to and including June 29.
• Maximum number of persons per site is 6
