Legislation to Protect Significant Area in Northwest Territories

The Honourable Leona Aglukkaq, Canada’s Environment Minister and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, today announced that a bill to formally protect Nááts’ihch’oh National Park Reserve under the Canada National Parks Act has been introduced in the Senate of Canada. With this action, the Government of Canada is continuing on its path of international conservation leadership.
