Sable Island National Park Reserve is the 43rd
national park to be created in Canada’s family of national parks. This legacy celebrates the essence of Canada and provides unique opportunities for Canadians to appreciate and enjoy the beauty and variety of the country.
The national park reserve designation ensures that Sable Island receives the highest level of protection for its natural and cultural features.
