Monday

14:00 Stories of Pasamai Mullis-Mi’kmaw guide - Merrymakedge P2
The back woods of Keji hold the secrets of guides, their quest, and their charge. Join Pasamai Mullis for some back woods chatter.
18:00 Petroglyph Tour - Merrymakedge P1
Visit a petroglyph site with a Mi’kmaw interpreter and hear the stories of how these images came to be and why they are protected. Sign up at Visitor Centre.
21:00 Memoirs of a Ravishing Redhead - Amphitheatre
Tales of murder, mystery, and intrigue surround the life of Margaret. Come hear stories of her life growing up in the Red Maple floodplain on the Mersey River. 


Tuesday

10:00 Medicine Walk - Visitor Centre
Join Doctor and Malple’wit as they seek to find the edible and medicinal plants along Beech Grove Trail. Meet us at the back entrance of the Visitor Centre.

19:00 Meditation on the Mersey - Jakes Landing
Follow the Mersey’s meandering to a place of balance and beauty. We will take the time to absorb the sensations offered up to us on this peaceful paddle. Bring or rent your own canoe.
20:30 Starstruck - Amphitheatre
Interested in stargazing but don’t know where to start? We can help! Join Professor Cosmos and Mi’kmaw guide Aliet Llui to discover the wonder and wisdom of the night sky.
22:00 Kejimkujik Wasoq+tesk - P1 Sky Circle
When the land of the fairies lights up at night, it is quite a sight to behold! Explore the summer constellations and learn how the Mi’kmaq and other cultures used the night sky. Bring a blanket and binoculars if you can. Weather permitting.

Discover the world of the Monarch Butterfly. Learn about their amazing migration, their life cycle, and how to plant a butterfly garden.

21:00 Campfire Connections - Jeremys Bay P2
Get to know Keji’s species at risk in a new way. Together we will discover that we share more in common with these special creatures than we think. Come join the campfire stories, take part in face painting, and share your Keji experiences. Weather permitting.

Hey Kids! Want to come help Frankie the turtle find his way home? Come paddle in the voyageur canoe and help us search for clues. Sign up required.
10:00 Family Farming - Farmlands
Farm life in the late 1800s was not an easy thing. Travel back in time and see how Farmlands Trail has changed and learn about a drumlin farm in Kejimkujik.

22:00 Atu'kwaqn - P1 Sky Circle
Thousands of years ago, Mi'kmaq in Keji would spend summer evenings sharing stories of the night sky. Fix your gaze on the stars for an evening of Mi'kmaw storytelling. Weather permitting.


Saturday

10:00 Eels, Weirs, and Dams - Eel Weir
Eels? Are they snakes or fish? Are they poor dining fare or a delicacy? Hear Donna’s version of how the Mi’kmaq view the eel.
