Skyline Sunset Hike
A recognized Canadian Signature Experience
Immerse yourself in nature's masterpiece where mountains truly do meet the sea, far below your feet.
Your adventure begins with a park guide leading you through boreal forest, bog and meadows, where bald eagles, sparrow and spruce grouse fly. Keep an eye out for roaming moose.
Your knowledgeable park interpreters will share stories about the area’s natural and cultural heritage along the way.
The trail continues on to a breathtaking headland high above the Atlantic where you’ll be mesmerized by spectacular mountains, and ocean views and the setting sun. Looking out from the boardwalk, some visitors feel like they’re standing on the tip of the world.
As you take in the crashing surf and rugged mountains from the headland cliff, make sure to look out for grey seals, minke, humpback, fin and pilot whales frolicking in the ocean below.
