Cross-country Skiing

Cross-Country Skiing

Cape Breton Highlands National Park has six groomed trails in two different areas: Black Brook and Broad Cove.

Mary Ann Falls, Warren Lake and Broad Cove trails are groomed for both classic and skate skiing; other groomed ski trails are classic only.

While trails in the western and northern areas of the park are not groomed, they are a favourite destination of many winter enthusiasts. The most popular trails for skiing in these areas are Salmon Pools, Benjie's Lake, Skyline, and the Chéticamp Campground area.
