I. Front-Country Camping

Terra Nova National Park of Canada offers two front-country camping experiences, each with its own special character.

Newman Sound Campground

Newman Sound Campground is located in the heart of Newman Sound. This large campground (343 sites) provides an array of services to visiting campers, including: 100 campsites serviced with electricity, a children's activity centre "The Nature House", a grocery store and Laundromat, all within the beautiful natural surroundings of Terra Nova's boreal forest.

Hours of Operation

Newman Sound Campground is available from Victoria Day weekend to the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. Please self-register or enquire at the Administration Building when the kiosk is closed. The kiosk is opened as follows:
