Warden Service and Public Safety

Park wardens at Gros Morne National Park participate in the roles of PREVENTION, PREPAREDNESS, RESPONSE, and RECOVERY.

Visitors are encouraged to contact the Park Warden Service for specific information on natural hazards or rescue services.

Persons planning extreme adventure activities (i.e. ice climbing, rock climbing, wilderness ski touring, etc.) are especially encouraged to contact the Park Warden Service for specific information regarding these activities.
