Gros Morne National Park of Canada

Accessibility

The park offers a variety of services for visitors who have a physical impairment.

People requiring wheelchair access or who have limited mobility will find that many of our facilities and attractions are fully wheelchair-accessible. This includes:

People who wish to camp will find accessible campsites, showers, and washrooms at Trout River Pond, Lomond, Berry Hill and Shallow Bay campgrounds .

Due to the historic nature of the structures at Broom Point fishing premises, there is only limited wheelchair access, to the ground floor of the fishing store.

A heavy-duty, all-terrain wheelchair is available at no charge from the Visitor Centre. It is not motorized (so somebody has to push), but it allows visitors with a mobility impairment to tour and enjoy many other areas of the park. We recommend calling ahead to reserve it. You must arrange transportation of the wheelchair.

We also have close-captioned audio-visual shows at the Visitor Centre and the Discovery Centre .
