Western Brook Pond
On Tuesday, 9 July 2013 Bontours and Parks Canada will launch the new
water experience at Western Brook Pond. Joins us for the launch of the new
catamaran touring vessel the Westbrook 1. This new vessel will
provide passengers with greater viewing comfort. A charter service will also
help to address specific needs of groups such as for guided tours with a
geologist, naturalist or folklorist, and even for on-board weddings. More
visitors will also have a chance to take in the famous view from the back of
the gorge thanks to a new shuttle and guide service that will facilitate
overnight expeditions. There will also be an increase in dock-side
programming including musical entertainment by local artists.
