Star Fest 2013 — May 31 - June 2
Parks Canada have joined forces once again with the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada to organize the Kouchibouguac Star Fest during Kouchibouguac National Park`s opening May long weekend! May 31st to June 2nd.
Kouchibouguac Star Fest offers a weekend of fun stargazing activities for the whole family. Under the unique Dark Sky of Kouchibouguac, catch a glimpse of Saturn and Moon craters, peer at the Milky Way, and spot distant galaxies, nebulae and star clusters – all with the help of astronomers from the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. A full schedule of activities is planned demo and hands-on “Telescope 101” clinic.
Dust off the fleece, binoculars and camping gear, get a start on the delights of spring hiking and camping, and learn something fun!
