School Outreach Programs
Park Interpreters, our education specialists present a series of fun in class educational programs each year to schools in Districts 1, 2, 6 and 8. The programs are curriculum based and last one hour. Your students can learn about interesting subjects like the cutting edge research going on in the park, animals and their habitats, or the fascinating cultural history that has shaped this region.
School outreach programs are offered daily during the months of April and May however, teachers can request a program any time during the school year and we’ll do our best to meet your needs. If you would like to request an in-class presentation, it’s best to contact the park as soon as possible to secure a date. Visit our website under “Learning Experiences” for more details.
