Things you should know regarding Chignecto North and Point Wolfe Campgrounds (PDF, 130 Kb)

General Campground Information
* There is no admission to the campgrounds from 12:00 am to 8:00 am
After Hours Registration
Campers must register with campground security. There is no admission from 12:00 am to 8:00 am
Check In Time
Anytime after 2:00 pm
Check Out Time
The campsite must be vacated by 11:00 am
Quiet Hours
11:00 pm to 7:00 am
Maximum Length of Stay
The maximum length of stay is 21 nights with the exception of the seasonal campsites in the Headquarters campground.
Maximum Persons per Site
The maximum number of people allowed per site is four (4), except for families (parents and dependent children).
Maximum Vehicles per Site
The maximum number of vehicle allowed per site is one (1)
Maximum Camping Units per Site
The maximum number of camping unit per site is one (1)
Generator Policy
Generator use is limited to 8:00 am to 11:00 pm
Amperage of Power Service
- 15 - 30 Amp (2-way service – electricity and water)
- 15 - 50 Amp (3-way service – electricity, water and sewer)
Fire Policy
Campfires are permitted at two campgrounds: Chignecto North and Point Wolfe. Campfires are not permitted at Headquarters campground. Fire wood can be purchased at the kiosk. Barbecues are permitted at all campgrounds.
Alcohol Ban
An alcohol ban is imposed during the Victoria Day weekend (May Long weekend).
At other times, alcohol consumption is only permitted at your campsite.
Pet Policies
Pets must be kept on a leash at all times. They must not be left unattended. Pets are not permitted at the Bennett Lake beach, the swimming pool, and on the golf course.
