Summary of Duties: Visitor services and revenue collection at campgrounds to enhance the visitor experience.

Open to: Persons residing within a 80 km radius of the Town of Banff, Alberta.

(Persons who have received pay in lieu of unfulfilled surplus period, a Transition Support Measure (TSM) or an Educational Allowance and are re-appointed to the Parks Canada Agency are required to reimburse an amount corresponding to the period from the effective date of such reappointment or hiring, to the end of the original period for which the TSM and education allowance was paid. SCREENING CRITERIA

Education:

Graduation with a secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience

Language: English Essential

Experience in:

  • Anticipating and meeting public needs, and resolving complaints;
  • Providing quality visitor experience;
  • Handling cash and operating point of sales;
  • Basic maintenance and cleaning practices

Operational Requirements :

  • Willingness to wear identifier clothing and personal safety equipment;
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, holidays, overtime and outdoors in various weather conditions;
  • Willingness and ability to perform tasks such as: lifting heavy boxes, picking litter, and site maintenance
