Come and join Parks Canada staff every day at noon in front of the NEW Riding Mountain oTENTik at the zoo. We are happy to bring you these short, informative 15-30 minute talks showcasing themes from Riding Mountain and Wapusk National Parks.
Riding Mountain National Park is a premium site for wildlife viewing and an important ecological sanctuary for many of the forest and grassland species found at the Assiniboine Park Zoo.
Wapusk National Park plays an integral role in protecting the habitat of the Western Hudson Bay population of polar bears and other sub-arctic species, while visiting the Journey to Churchill exhibit at the Assiniboine Park Zoo.
