Visitor Centre

The Visitor Centre should be your first stop when you visit Wasagaming. The Centre acts as the "nerve centre" of the park. You will receive up-to-date information on interpretive programs, park and town facilities, trails, and even the weather. The Discovery Room is alive with real life scenes from the park. Come face to face with a wolf or moose, and learn about the factors that influence the park and its wildlife. Visit the Nature Shop, run by the park's co-operating association, Friends of Riding Mountain National Park. Inside you will find a wide selection of nature-related toys, books, clothes and crafts. Finally, the Visitor Centre is one of the places that you can purchase fishing licenses, park vehicle passes, and park interpretive program tickets.
