Join us for the ultimate park experience.

Become a Citizen Scientist and join the RMNP research team.


What can you do?

You can assist our research team to monitor the health of Clear Lake or to collect data for our Elk monitoring project. RMNP’s Citizen Science line-up is the best opportunity for you to get first hand information about the newest park discoveries by putting on the shoes of a park researcher and joining the process.

Who can help?

Everyone! Individuals, families or groups can select from a range of ecological and social monitoring projects.

When can you help?

Citizen Science program are running every week. Here are just a few of the programs available:

Mondays July/August “Afternoon with a researcher”, Help with a variety of programs. Enrich your visit and gather first hand information about Clear lake ecosystems. Change your scenery, put on your boots and get ready to get wet as a researcher for a day.
