Group Camping

Three group camping areas are available for private functions including Camp Kippechewin, Lake Audy, and Ma-ma-o-pe. These areas are the perfect spots for non-profit groups, family reunions, birthdays, weddings or any special event.

Group camping is available at Ma-ma-o-pe and Camp Kippechewin - from May 1st – October 31st, and from May long-weekend until October 1st at Lake Audy.

Camp Kippechewin

Located 14.7 km (9 miles) from Wasagaming off Hwy 354. This private spot in the forest at the West end of Clear Lake has a beautiful beach and a large grassy day-use area. 

  • Reservations and a deposit are required 
  • 10 people minimum, 60 people maximum 
  • Accommodates tents and small trailers 
  • Amenities include a campfire circle, 2 kitchen shelters, 2 pit privies,firepits, picnic tables, firewood, and well water 
  • Beach access

Ma-Ma-O-Pe

Located 13.3 km (8 miles) from Wasagaming off Hwy 10. Ma-Ma-O-Pe is a private, secluded camping area deep in the forest. The area is wooded and ideal for nature enthusiasts and groups seeking solitude. 

  • Reservations and a deposit are required 
  • 10 people minimum, 40 people maximum 
  • Tents only; entrance to campground is a long and winding road that cannot accommodate large vehicles such as buses or RVs 
  • Amenities include picnic tables, firepits, a group campfire circle, firewood, kitchen shelter, pit privies 
  • No beach access

Lake Audy

Located 44 km (27 miles) from Wasagaming off Hwy 354. Lake Audy campground is a prairie landscape with a beautiful lakeside view. Sites 1-4 have been designated as a reservable group camping area with close access to the beach and kitchen shelter. A perfect site for groups to enjoy fishing, paddling, and wildlife viewing, including the nearby bison herd.

  • 10 people minimum, 30 people maximum 
  • Accommodates tents and small trailers 
  • Amenities include picnic tables, firepits, firewood, kitchen shelter, fish cleaning station, pit privies and well water 
  • Beach access

Lake Audy Horse Corral - capacity 20 people/25 horses (4 corrals)

For horse corral reservations call 1-204-848-7275. Reservations required.

Located off Lake Audy Road, 41.1 km (25.5 miles) from Wasagaming. Located close to the Bison Enclosure this horse camp has three fire grills, picnic tables, and privies. Horse use directives are available at the Visitor Centre or by calling 204-848-7275.
