NOTICE TO CAMPERS
RIDING MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK OF CANADA
This is to advise you that the possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages in Wasagaming, Moon Lake, Lake Audy, Deep Lake and Whirlpool Lake Campgrounds is prohibited from 12:00 hours, Friday, May 17, 2013 to 21:00 hours, Monday, May 20, 2013.
Campers will be assigned to a particular section of the campground. Failure to camp in the assigned section may result in cancellation of the permit. The Wasagaming campground entrance gate will be closed to visitors at 1:00 a.m. and vehicles will not be allowed into the campground after this time. Quiet hours will be in effect and no visitors will be permitted from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. for Wasagaming, Moon Lake, Deep Lake, Lake Audy and Whirlpool Lake Campgrounds. All fires and major light sources must be extinguished by 1:00 a.m.
Campers should be further advised that excessive noise and/or rowdy behaviour will not be tolerated. Charges will be laid for infractions of the alcohol ban and camping privileges will be cancelled.
Riding Mountain National Park of Canada is promoting a liquor free camping for the May long weekend. We want our visitors to have a safe and friendly weekend.
