Campsite reservations are available in this national park April 9, 2009. The Parks Canada Campsite Reservation System will include Redstreak Campground . Busy Season
Demand is heaviest from June through September, with July and August being the busiest.
Checkout
Checkout time is 11:00 am.
Permits
Campers must purchase a camping permit at the campground kiosk or at the self-registration kiosk.
Fires
Campfires are permitted at most sites. A fire permit must be purchased at kiosks or self-registration booths. Firewood is provided.
Bears and Camping

Never leave the following unattended at your site:
- Coolers
- Pet Bowls
- Dishes/Pots
- Toiletries
- Food Items
- Cooking Stoves
- Garbage Bags
- Wash Basins
Bears that get hooked on food and garbage are problem bears and may have to be destroyed. Please help us keep bears wild. Store all coolers and food items in your vehicle or in storage lockers if provided. Report any bear sightings to park staff.
Sani-dump Stations
Redstreak, McLeod Meadows and Marble Canyon campgrounds all offer sani-dump stations.
Showers
Showers are available in Redstreak campground only.
Disabled Access
There are wheelchair accessible sites in Redstreak, McLeod Meadows and Marble Canyon campgrounds.
Learning Opportunities
Interpretive programs are available in Redstreak Campground during the summer. These programs are free and everyone is welcome to attend. Consult campground advertising for details.
Dates of Operation
Dates of operation vary from campground to campground. Summer camping begins in early May, with all campgrounds open by mid to late June. Summer campgrounds close in September and October. The winter campground is at Dolly Varden.
Group Camping
Group camping is available for non-profit groups with a minimum of ten people at Crook's Meadow Group Campground . The group campsite can accommodate tents only. To make a reservation, please contact:
