Redstreak Campground (map)
- Located 2.5 km above the Village of Radium Hot Springs on a sunny plateau. A 1.8 km trail connects the campground with the restaurants, and services in the Village and a 2.7 km trail leads to the Hot Springs Pools.
- There are 50 fully serviced sites, 38 sites with power only, and 154 unserviced sites, some of which are walk-in. Campground services include flush toilets, piped hot and cold water, showers, kitchen shelters, fire rings and firewood, smoke-free areas, playgrounds, theatre, interpretive activities, walking trails, recycling bins, food storage, sani-dump station, wheelchair-accessible campsites, public telephone.
- For the 2011 season, Redstreak Campground has opted out of the Parks Canada reservation service to accommodate an improvement project. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any further questions or concerns please contact Steve Wilson, by phone at 250-343-6104.
McLeod Meadows Campground
- A well treed campground with spacious sites located 27 km north of Radium Hot Springs along the Kootenay River.
- 98 sites, dry toilets, piped cold water, kitchen shelters, fire rings and firewood, walking trails, recycling bins, food storage, sani-dump station, campground host program. Dog Lake is a 2.6 km walk from the campground, suitable for families.
Dolly Varden Winter Camping
- Located near Dolly Varden Creek, 36 kilometres north of the Village of Radium Hot Springs, on highway 93 South.
- There are several drive through parking sites. Services include vault toilets, kitchen shelters and interpretive display.
- Camping permits can be purchased at the Kootenay National Park West Gate (telephone 250-347-9551), Lake Louise Visitor Centre (telephone 403-522-3833) or the Yoho National Park Visitor Centre (telephone 250-343-6783).
Marble Canyon Campground
- 86 km north of Radium Hot Springs or 7 km south of the Banff-Kootenay boundary. A high altitude campground close to the self-guided interpretive trail along the deep gorge that is Marble Canyon.
- 61 sites, flush toilets, piped cold water (boil-water notice in effect), kitchen shelters with stoves, fire rings and firewood, recycling bins, food storage, sani-dump station, campground host program .
Crook's Meadow Group Campground
- Located 34 km north of Radium Hot Springs on the site of one of the oldest homesteads in Kootenay National Park. Set aside for non-profit groups with a reservation.
- Group tenting for 30 tents and parking for some support vehicles. Facilities include well water with pump, pump out toilets, kitchen shelter with a wood cook stove, picnic tables and food storage, fire boxes, firewood, open playing field, fire circle for fireside talks.

Campsites
Reservations
Campgrounds in Kootenay National Park operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Demand is heaviest from June through September, with July and August being the busiest.

Dates
Campground opening and closing dates may vary depending on weather and operational requirements. Check the Kootenay Information Centre for exact dates.
Campfires
Campfires are permitted at most sites. A fire permit must be purchased at kiosks or self-registration booths. Firewood is provided.
Showers
Showers are available in Redstreak campground only.
Sani-dump Stations
Redstreak, McLeod Meadows and Marble Canyon campgrounds all offer sani-dump stations.
Fees
Camping and campfire permits must be purchased at the campground kiosk or at the self-registration kiosk. See a complete list of fees.

Checkout time is 11:00 am.
Accessibility
There are wheelchair accessible sites in Redstreak, McLeod Meadows and Marble Canyon campgrounds.
Group Camping
Group camping is available for non-profit groups with a minimum of ten people at Crook's Meadow Group Campground . The group campsite can accommodate tents only. Rules
Quiet hours are in effect daily from 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Generator use is permitted between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Bears and Camping
When camping, be aware! You are in bear country!
Never leave the following unattended at your site:

Bears that get hooked on food and garbage are problem bears and may have to be destroyed. Please help us keep bears wild. Store all coolers and food items in your vehicle or in storage lockers if provided. Report any bear sightings to park staff. How to keep a "bare" Campsite.
