Parks Canada's Custodial Group winter backcountry policy
Parks Canada's Custodial Group winter backcountry policy comes into force on November 15, and remains in effect until April 30.
Custodial groups are groups affiliated with an institution, where at least one person is below the age of majority and that minor is not in the company of his/her parent or legal guardian. Examples would be school groups, Scout/Guide groups, church groups, cadet groups and community youth groups.
