Waterton WinterFest

March 13 - 15

Get away to the most peaceful place in Southern Alberta to discover the wonders of winter in Waterton Lakes National Park. Enjoy a night sky presentation, stories about the winter count or a movie. Bring your family out for a horse-drawn wagon ride, or participate in guided snowshoe and interpretive hikes. Explore Waterton's special winter character. Go for a walk along the gorgeous lakes surrounded by snow-covered mountains and see on a cold day the water evaporating into the air. Or wander through the peaceful townsite and share the streets with bighorn sheep and deer.

Waterton-Glacier Science and History Day

Parks Canada and the USA National Park Service invite you to our annual Waterton-Glacier Science and History Day. This year’s event is in Glacier National Park on Tuesday, July 28, from 9:30 am until 3:30 pm at the West Glacier Community Building. The event is open to the public and free of charge. Science and History Day is a great way for people to hear the latest results from scientists and historians carrying out projects in and around the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park.

Blackfoot Arts and Heritage Festival
