The Palisades Stewardship Education Centre

Twelve kilometres from the town of Jasper is one of the best kept secrets in Jasper National Park: The Palisades Stewardship Education Centre. This historic ranch , set in one of the most spectacular locations in the Athabasca Valley, was the homestead of an early pioneering family in the late 1800’s. Today, Parks Canada operates the centre as one of the country’s premier outdoor education facilities for youth and offers additional programs and opportunities for adults, families and special groups.

Youth Programs

The Palisades specializes in exciting year round programs for high school aged including a selection of 4-day high school credit programs! Day programs are available for younger students during November and April. For more information click here

Joy of Camping

This summer, adults and families can enroll in our new ‘Joy of Camping’ weekend workshops where you can learn basic camping skills from the comfort of the Palisades Centre. For more information click here
