Friends of Jasper National Park

Friends of Jasper National Park is a democratic non-profit association of individuals and organizations. Friends of Jasper National Park Association exists to promote understanding, appreciation, and respect for the natural ecosystems and cultural heritage of Jasper National Park and surrounding areas.

It's great to have Friends

Friends of Jasper National Park work in cooperation with Parks Canada and do all kinds of things - from programs and events to projects. Projects include updating directional trail signs and ongoing community efforts to establish footpaths, to restore native species and to introduce interpretive signage in places like Pyramid Island and Cavell Meadows.

Make a difference

Check out a store that makes a difference to the park. Friends have a bookstore/gift shop located in the Information Centre. All proceeds from the store are used for educational programs, research, publications and park improvement projects in Jasper National Park.
