The Palisades Centre offers accommodation, meals and facilities for training, meetings and research activities in the beautiful surroundings of Jasper National Park. The nationally recognized historic buildings have been converted to suit the needs of small to medium sized groups wanting to meet in a casual, rustic atmosphere. Perfect for retreats that focus on learning, team building and networking. Located 12km east of Jasper on Highway 16 and Snaring Campground Road.

The Palisades Centre has twenty-six bedrooms in seven buildings that can house up to 62 people. Each bedroom has from one to four beds (singles, bunks or/and doubles) with sleeping room for sixty-two in all. Rooms are made up and clean towels are provided daily. Hand soap is supplied.
Smoking is permitted outside in designated places only.
No pets please.
Meals and Refreshments

Meals and health breaks are provided buffet style in the Bunkhouse Dining Room. Water service is provided in the meeting rooms. Arrangements for special food requirements (allergies, vegetarian, etc.) may be arranged with sufficient notice. The Centre provides only non-alcoholic beverages so hospitality arrangements are the responsibility of each group.

The Centre has three major meeting rooms:
- Flanagan Hall, upstairs in the Barn, 110 sq. m., seats 30 to 60.
- The Bullpen, 45 sq. m., seats 10 to 30.
- The Garage, 110 sq. m., seats 30 to 50.
Several smaller rooms and, weather permitting, outside picnic tables can be used for breakout areas. All meeting rooms have a TV monitor, VCR/CD/DVD player, overhead projector, slide projector, screen, whiteboard and flipcharts. The laptop computer and/or multimedia projector must be pre-booked.
Guest Office
The Guest Office on the second floor of the Barn is available for trainers and meeting organizers. It has two computers with internet access (dial-up), phone plugs for laptop connections, fax machine, photocopier and other office supports.
Recreation

The Lodge is the site of social and recreational activities. It has a fireplace, TV (satellite), card table, shuffleboard, ping-pong table and dry bar with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine and kettle. For outdoor activities there is equipment for horseshoes, volleyball, croquet and basketball.
The Garage meeting room doubles as a workout area with treadmill, bikes, weight bench, stepper, single station/double station home gyms, punch bags, mats and free weights. There are several yoga and aerobic workout videos for guest use.

Facilities available in the town of Jasper include a movie theatre, museum, library, restaurants, bars, shops, racquetball courts, a climbing wall, weight room and swimming pool with a water slide.
There are walking trails around the centre and many more within a short driving distance. Check at the Jasper Information Centre or at www.pc.gc.ca/jasper for more information.
Research Support Services
During the summer months the centre provides a base for researchers working in Jasper National Park. The Bullpen becomes a multi purpose building for cooking and relaxing as well as accommodating work areas for research teams (other areas are available). There are freezers and fridges for specimen storage and a darkroom in the Ice House basement. The Guest Office equipment is available for use and access to the Jasper National Park library and collections can be arranged.

Several rate packages are available, depending on your requirements for meeting facilities, meal plans, and level of housekeeping services. The $120/day per person package includes accommodation, full housekeeping services, three meals, two coffee breaks with snacks, meeting room and a full complement of audio-visual equipment. Payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit, cash or cheque upon check out is accepted.
