Elk Island National Park offers students an opportunity to experience learning in a living classroom. Students connect with their natural world and engage Alberta’s educational curriculum in a new and fascinating way through hands-on activities.
New in 2012
We are currently updating our educational programs. New this year are the Grade 5 “National Treasures & Wetland Wonders” and Grade 6 “F.I.T. (Forest Investigator Team)” programs. These programs are directly linked to Alberta Education’s science and social studies curriculum.
