Integrating science and education to restore ecological connectivity
Since 1996, the Banff Wildlife Crossings Project has been sharing scientific
findings on the effectiveness of the highway wildlife crossings in Banff National
Park with transportation professionals, the general public and students.
- Peer-reviewed scientific journal articles
- Graduate student theses studying the effects of the Trans-Canada Highway
(TCH) on the natural resources of Banff National Park
- Multi-day workshops for transportation professionals on highway wildlife
mitigations
- Cover photograph on the fourth edition of Essentials of Conservation

- Field trips for professionals and other interested individuals
