Construction timeline, 2011-2013

Phase IIIB –1 (9 km section east of Lake Louise):
Completed in September 2009

Phase IIIB – 2 (14 km section west of Castle Junction):

• Mannix Pit Rehabilitation (2012)
• Landscaping (2012)

Phase IIIB-3 (8.5 km section from Lake Louise west to the Alberta/BC border):

• Pedestrian Overpass (2011-2012)
• New highway lanes (2011-2012)
• Two new highway bridges (2011-2012)
• Three wildlife underpasses (2011-2012)
