Lake Louise Community Plan

PART II: RESOURCE PROTECTION

A PLACE FOR NATURE
. . . Protecting Banff's Ecological Resources

GUIDING PRINCIPLE

New development and visitor use in the community will have
no net negative environmental impact on the park’s
ecological integrity.

An aerial photo of Lower Lake Louise overlaid with wildlife movement patterns around the hamlet of Lower Lake Louise. The movement pattern shows wildlife traversing just outside the outskirts of the Hamlet, avoiding the built up areas and only crossing on the eastern and western boundaries of the Hamlet.
