Wild About Parks
Throughout July and August, look for some strange new animals at the Calgary Zoo! Performers from Parks Canada's Mountain WIT entertain all ages with wild tales from the mountain national parks. Learn what Parks Canada is doing to protect wildlife, and how you can help!
When: Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 until 3:00
Where: At the Calgary Zoo, in the Canadian Wilds
Cost: Free with Calgary Zoo admission.
Soak in the history while Parks Canada’s award-winning theatre troupe, Mountain WIT, shares hilarious stories about the nature and culture of the Mountain National Parks!
When: Fridays from 3:00 until 5:00
Where: At the Banff Upper Hot Springs, on the pool deck.
Cost: Free with pool admission.
The Mountain WIT Variety Show
Join Parks Canada's award-winning theatre troupe, Mountain WIT, for a family-friendly hour in the heart of Banff. Hilarious sketches and catchy tunes help all ages to understand the mountain national parks and all that we protect within them. Shows take place outdoors, so please dress for our chilly mountain evenings.
When: Fridays from 7:30 until 8:30
Where: Banff Avenue Square, on the 200 Block of Banff Avenue

History Comes Back to Haunt You
Parks Canada's Mountain WIT is transforming the Cave & Basin National Historic Site into a hilariously terrifying (or terrifyingly hilarious) house of horrors. Do you smell a whiff of brimstone and sulphur? Who dares to enter the Devil's Playground?
October 22 – 25, 2014, two events each night. Family show at 7:00 p.m. (Recommended for children 6+ years only, please) and Adults Only show with extra scares at 8:30 p.m.. Advance ticket information available soon.
