nature of the Canadian Rockies.
Parkline News: The 124 Year Report
Join Martha Mountain from Parkline News, as she reports on the experiences that
people have enjoyed in Banff National Park since it’s beginnings, 124
years ago. How did they achieve these experiences? And how has the National
Park managed to balance recreation and preservation of these landscapes? Many
special guests will be featured throughout the hour.
Mystery in the Mountains – the case of the missing meal
In this program, a park interpreter looks forward to enjoying a delicious picnic
in the Park. However the plan changes suddenly as she discovers that her lunch
has vanished. What animal would commit such a crime? Why would it snatch the
food? Park visitors learn about some wildlife suspects in the crime case and
join a unique adventure to solve the mystery of the missing meal.
Who’s Hooves in the Canadian Rockies?
Come be a Jr. Interpreter and help find out who’s hooves in the Canadian
Rockies. The ungulates may be common and the bottom of the food chain, but often
can be overlooked and un-thought about. Join in the fun and see these creatures
tell you the importance of their lives and the tools they use for survival.
