These permits must be carried at all times and produced upon request from a Park employee. Fees for permits go towards the cost of facilities and management of the park.
Bryant, Brewster, Spray Watersheds
1. Birdwood (Upper Spray)
Camp at Us15 campground. Grazing in meadow adjacent to campsite.
2. Tall Timbers
Camp at Tall Timbers horse campground in the Bryant Creek valley 2 km west of the warden cabin. Grazing in meadows adjacent to the campsite.
3. Brewster Creek Halfway
Grazing in wet meadows and slide paths belowAllenby Pass and adjacent to Halfway lodge. No use of private concessionaires' horse facilities without permission.
4. Brewster Creek
Camp at Bw 10 campground at Fatigue junction. Grazing above Fatigue Creek trail junction to confluence of unnamed creek coming from Allenby Pass. No use of private concessionaires' horse facilities.
Cascade, Dormer, Johnston, Mystic, Panther Watersheds
5. Cascade Road/Stoney Creek
Camp at Cr 15 campground. Grazing is on the northeast side of the Cascade Road/Stoney Creek junction.
6. Cascade Road/Elk Trap
Use the meadows around the elk trap (approx. 4 km up from Stoney Creek bridge).
7. Flint's Park
Use the small meadow 1.5 km west of Flint's warden cabin between the old road and Cascade River.
8. Upper Flint's Park
Meadow halfway between Flint's warden cabin and Block Lake junction. As the old fire road forks near the east side of the meadow, take the lower fork.
9. Sawback Slidepath
Camp at campground Fm29. Grazing in the slide paths on the north side of the creek from the campground.
10. Mystic Lake
Camp at campground Ml 22. Grazing in the slide path above the campground.
11. Elk Pass
Camp at campground Ek 13. Grazing in the large meadow below the campground.
12. Dormer Meadow
A small series of boggy meadows 1 km north of Dormer Pass. Camping is on higher ground north side of the creek.
13. Lower Dormer
A small meadow and grassy area in open pine forest approximately .5 km upstream of the trail junction to Panther River. A good campsite exists across from the Dormer/Panther junction on the east side of the river.
14. Lower Panther
This area is the eastern half of the lower Panther Meadow, which begins at the West Elkhorn Summit shortcut and extends for 2.5 km downstream from that point. Suggested camping is on the east side of the river at an obvious old trail ride camp. Camping is not permitted near the ecologically sensitive sulphur springs.
15. Upper Panther
The large meadow system beginning at the old campsite .5 km upstream of the Cascade Trail/Panther River junction.
16. Upper Johnston Creek
Camp 1km south of the Jo 29 Campground. Grazing in the meadows adjacent to the campground.
Baker Creek, Red Deer Watersheds, Divide Creek
17. Baker Creek
A small shrub land meadow along the trail 1.5 km north of Wildflower Creek.
18. Tyrrell Creek
Horses can graze throughout this large meadow on either side of the Cascade Trail from Tyrrell Creek to Coyote Creek.
19. Scotch Camp
There is ample grazing on either side of the river in this area. Good campsites exist on the south side of the river .5 km past the bridge, and 1 km away from the bridge on the north side of the river at the mouth of Divide Creek. No use of the warden pasture.
20. McConnell Creek
A grassy shrub land meadow exists along the trail at the junction of the creek and the Red Deer River.
21. Horseshoe Lake (Skeleton Lake)
A good camping and grazing site exists adjacent to the trail to the lake along the south shore of the Red Deer River. Due to the wet and boggy areas near the lakeshore, no camping or grazing is permitted within 1 km of the lake.
22. Sandhills
A large meadow with sand hills on the northeast edge approximately 3 km upstream from the warden cabin.
23. Douglas Lake
A large wet grassy meadow exists at the south end of Douglas Lake.
24. Drummond Creek
A grassy shrub land meadow exists near the Drummond Creek drainage with a suitable camping site just west of the trail.
25. Lower Red Deer Lakes
Grazing in several small meadows along the Red Deer River just east of the warden horse pasture at Red Deer Lakes.
26. Divide Creek
Immediately south of Divide Pass lies a very large shrub land meadow suitable for larger parties. The warden cabin lies along the east side of this open area.
Peters Creek, Clearwater River
27. Indianhead Meadows
This large area consists of two large shrub land meaows at the confluence of Peters Creek and the Clearwater River along the Peters Creek trail. Formerly the site of an old warden cabin.
28. Malloch Creek Flats
This large shrub land meadow provides excellent grazing with good dry campsites.
29. Trident Lake
There are several fair grazing sites well off the lakeshore in small grassy meadows.
30. Lower Clearwater Lakes
A good campsite exists in a grassy area at the east end of Clearwater Lakes below the drift fence.
31. Upper Clearwater Lakes
This is a grassy meadow which runs for approximately 2 km upstream from the lakes. No camping or grazing permitted within 1 km of the warden cabin. This grazing area is the large meadow above the drift fence.
32. Devon Lakes
This is a large grassy shrub land area approximately 3 km downstream from Devon Lakes.
Pipestone, Siffleur Watersheds
33. Point Camp Meadows
Located beside Pipestone River, 2 km south of the junction of the Pipestone River and Little Pipestone creek and 2 km north of the private concessionaires' horse camp.
34. Molar Creek Meadow
Camp at Mo16 campground. This meadow is approximately 3 km up from the Molar Creek trail junction with the Pipestone River and consists of a small grassy knoll amid a wet shrub land.
35. Lower Singing Meadows
This area starts approximately 3 km up from Little Pipestone Creek and extends up valley for 2 km.
36. Upper Singing Meadows
A large grazing area adjacent to a tumbling waterfall in the vicinity of the trail junction to Fish Lakes.
37. Upper Pipestone River
This area is the last grassy area in the timber before making the climb to Pipestone Pass.
38. Siffleur River
Located halfway between Pipestone Pass and Dolomite Creek near the Siffleur River. Random camping is not permitted in this area of the park. Camp at the designated campsite (NH 437 365). This is a special wild land zone where camping and grazing is permitted for only one consecutive night.
39. Isabella Lake
This area consists of shrub land meadows and slide paths just above the warden cabin for 2 km.
North Saskatchewan Watershed
40. Howse River
Small patches of grass below Lagoon Lake at the old warden cabin site.
41. Glacier Lake
Area at the end of Glacier Lake has a large meadow approximately 2 km long.
42. Watchman Lake
Grassy areas along the north and west side of the lake.
43. Sunset Pass
Camp at No 5 campground. This area is a large meadow. Grazing is adjacent to the campground
