A global campaign to identify the official New 7 Wonders of Nature, intended to significantly raise awareness of the incredible variety and beauty of nature around the world, is now in its third and final phase and we are asking for your help!
The Bay of Fundy, located along the Fundy National Park of Canada, is the only location representing Canada on the world stage in this global campaign. Its main attributes for being considered include: , internationally renowned geology and paleontology, habitat to rare and endangered whales, feeding grounds for millions of shorebirds on their annual migration from the Arctic to South America, and three UNESCO designations.

The Official Declaration of the New 7 Wonders of Nature will be on November 11, 2011 (11.11.11).

You can vote online by providing a valid email address and some basic information, as well as creating a user name (e.g. parkscanada1). You must vote for your seven favourite finalists, including the Bay of Fundy of course! You can also vote by texting to 77077 and typing the word FUNDY (a Can$.25 charge applies).
This is an opportunity to not only influence history in the making but to help raise one of our national treasures to a whole new level of global recognition and appreciation.
