Simply breathtaking! Admire Parks Canada’s treasures.
In 2011, Parks Canada celebrated its 100th birthday. Throughout the year, every month, we presented our organization to you using a different theme and prepared wallpapers related to that theme. It is with great pride that we offer these wallpapers to you as a legacy of our centennial.

Diving in Kelp Forest
Kelp forests can grow up to 30 metres in height and shelter a wide range of species within different layers of the forest. The "canopy" of the kelp forest is visible from the sea surface and is made up of the bulbs and fronds of bull kelp and giant kelp. These kelp forests can be found in Gwaii Haanas National Marine Conservation Area Reserve and Haida Heritage Site.
