Weather
Many visitors to this region are often shocked by the heat during the summer months, as temperatures during this time can reach 30-35°C. Spring and fall are fairly chilly, however, and more than a light jacket is usually necessary. The central Yukon is quite arid with only a couple feet of snow in the winter and little precipitation during the summer months.
