Winter Use Schedule

Every third weekend from December to April, is designated NON-MOTORIZED in Chilkoot Trail National Historic Site. On these weekends, from Friday through Sunday, no snowmobiling is allowed anywhere within the boundary of the Site. This includes the Log Cabin parking lot for the loading / unloading of snowmobiles. All weekdays and all other weekends are Multi-Use.

Winter Safety
Winter users are responsible for their own safety and are expected to make their own evaluations of weather, snow stability and avalanche danger, and their own decisions concerning campsite and route selection.
