Saturday, August 3rd, 2013 - Historic Trades Day

Historic Trades Day is fun for all ages!

Escape with your family for this fun-filled day of cannon and rifle firing, wagon rides, historic trades demonstrations, Métis dance and cultural demonstrations and NWMP / RCMP drills! BBQ lunch tops it all off! Regular admission fees apply. 10:00am-4:30pm

Don't forget the Historic Trades Day “Moose Caboose” Bus Tour. Leaves from visitor centre in Elkwater, Cypress Hills, AB. 9:00am-4:00pm. Phone 403.893.3833 to reserve your seats and for cost details.

Fab Forts Weekend

Come visit Fort Walsh August 17 and 18 for The Fab Forts Weekend.  This will be a wonderful opportunity for visitors to discover the central role forts play in community life and to appreciate the profound importance they have had in Canada for several centuries.

Whiskey!

In this hilarious 1870’s story, a woman and her business partner leave Montana for the Cypress Hills to sell illegal rotgut whiskey. In this fun, free play appealing to all ages, find out what happens when they learn about the arrival of the North West Mounted Police. See calendar for dates, times and location information.
