• Parks Canada Xplorers Club is a fun way for children (6-11 years old), to experience the Motherwell Homestead using a variety of activities.

Equine Extravaganza VI and Parks Canada 100th Anniversary – July 16, 2011

• Admire many horse breeds. 
• Learn everything you need to know about horses. 
• Chitchat with the blacksmith or the hired hands.

Binding and Stooking

• Sunday 2 weeks before Labour Day Week-end
• Take part in the busy harvest season as we bind and stook the fields in preparation for the threshing gangs. Enjoy horse drawn demonstrations, old-fashioned games, music and more.

The activities on all special events days will be dependent on the weather.
