It’s time for the threshing gang to get the crop ready for market at the Motherwell Homestead. See a demonstration with the 1911 Hart Parr tractor and a 1920’s Case thresher. Watch as horses work the land. Taste homemade food. Listen to lively musical entertainment. Participate in children's activities. City slickers welcome!

Lured from Ontario by the promise of free land, Motherwell dedicated his life to western agriculture and became Canada’s first Minister of Agriculture. Learn about binding, stooking and threshing. This great pioneer employed many techniques still practiced today! See his machines, his garden and his land.
