Ghost Walk
If you are looking for a tour of an entirely different kind, this experience may be the one you are seeking. For many years, staff, volunteers and visitors have encountered strange and unexplained occurrences at the site. In the evening and by lantern light, your tour guide will walk you through the site and share these stories that appear to have no earthly explanation.

Within These Walls
With this unique program you can become one of the settlers seeking safety within the Fort in the early spring of 1885. Is there an enemy outside? Or is the fear so great that misunderstandings have invoked fear among the settlers who gather together? Discover just how they felt. At sunset, watch a live mock skirmish against an unknown enemy. Hear the rifles and feel the boom of the cannon as it shakes the ground beneath your feet!

Children’s Day Camps
Are you looking for a truly unique summer program where your children will experience history first-hand? On three Wednesdays in July, we offer themed Day Camps. Each week the program is developed around an historical theme and your children will have the opportunity to learn the history of our area through unique and exciting experiences. Each program offers games and crafts related to the theme of the day. This program is for children aged 6 to 9 and is open to both boys and girls. Remember to register your children early for this highly successful program as we do have limited registration!

Haunted Fort
Have you ever visited a haunted house at Halloween? Do you enjoy the adrenaline rush when something jumps out and scares you? The staff and volunteers at Fort Battleford abandon the regular program for this one evening in order to transform our five historic buildings into five haunted and very creepy buildings which are sure to give you a Halloween scare that will make you scream!
