Tour the grounds of the historic village of Batoche located on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River, the site of dramatic armed conflict in 1885 between the Métis provisional government and the Canadian government. Discover this Métis community, its unique river lot system used by the area residents and the historic importance of Batoche to this country.
