The old fur trade warehouse that is the Fur Trade at Lachine National Historic Site of Canada just celebrated its 200th anniversary. The warehouse was built in 1803. It is a witness to the era of the fur trade around Montreal, from now and then. This warehouse has survived the passage of time to tell us the stories of the fur trade companies, and of the adventurers that have sought shelter under its roof.
