1. Program at the site
  • A tour of a warehouse built for the fur trade
  • A presentation of the fur trade epic
  • Several activities with the participants
  • Use of fur pelts, felt hats, arrowed sashes and other objects of the period that may be handled by all
  • Songs of the Voyageurs
  • Fun movie about fur trade

Duration : 1 hour
Fee : $3.40 per person (prices may change without notice)

Schedule:
Monday to Friday from the beginning of April to the end of November

2. Program in your home
  • A presentation in your senior home about the fur trade epic
  • Several activities with the participants
  • Use of fur pelts, felt hats and other objects of the period that may be handled by all
  • Songs of the Voyageurs

Duration : 1 hour
Fee : $73.60 per group (prices may change without notice)

Schedule:
This program is available all year long

Literacy and second Language Program

Two different programs are offered :

  • Several interactive activities with the students
  • Use of fur pelts, felt hats and other objects of the period that may be handled by all
  • The writing of a travel experiences in The Letter of a Voyageur
  • A quiz rally through the exhibit
  • A fun movie about the fur trade

Capacity : 40 persons (minimum of 15 persons)
Duration : 1 hour
Fee : $2.90 per student

Schedule:
Monday to Friday from the beginning of April to the end of November

2. Program in your classroom
  • An in-class presentation of the fur trade epic
  • Several interactive activities with the students
  • Use of fur pelts, felt hats and other objects of the period that may be handled by all
  • The writing of a travel experiences in The Letter of a Voyageur
  • Several sessions may be scheduled in one day

Fee : $73.60 per class (prices may change without notice)
Duration : 1 hour (only one class at a time)
