How to Get There

Grosse Île and the Irish Memorial National Historic Site is located in the Isle-aux-Grues archipelago, 48 km east of Québec City.


From Berthier-sur-Mer, private ferry company Les Croisières Lachance can take you daily to Grosse-Île for a fee.

Seasonal ferry schedule

  • May 4 to June 19: Wednesday to Sunday
  • June 20 to August 28: Monday to Sunday
  • September 2 to October 10: Wednesday to Sunday

To get to Berthier-sur-Mer from Québec City, head south over Pierre-Laporte bridge and take Highway 20 East toward Rivière-du-Loup. Get off at exit 364. Drive into Berthier-sur-Mer and follow the signs to the marina.
